a
work by Giuseppe Mazzatinti, published in 1904
at Rocca di S.Casciano. At the moment
new cataloguing is being done on the parts relating to correspondence.
The parchments, the medieval parts, have been completed
re-copied and listed in 2002 in the thesis by Maria
Chiara Lorenzini B.A. and Chiara Vichi B.A. with
the relative Professor Silio P.P. Scalfati for the University
of Pisa.
The files
contain letters, correspondence, noted manuscripts, reports
and various documents relating to Italian and European history
principally of the 16th and 17th Century, mainly of various
engagements and offices held by Vescovo Anton
Maria Graziani.
The parchments embrace
a time period which starts from the beginning in 1204 until
the end of the 18th Century. The medieval part,
that until 1492, shows principally the private deeds
and relative heirs of the Graziani family and local
history of Borgo Sansepolcro. The modern part, as well
as
The Graziani's and local history, relates to deeds and
documents of great interest concerning European politics
of the 16th and 17th Centuries.
